美国费城和英国牛津，2021年3月2日 - 药明康德今日宣布完成对英国基因治疗技术公司OXGENE的收购。此次收购将进一步拓展药明康德细胞和基因疗法平台的技术能力，为客户提供一体化、端到端的细胞和基因疗法产品开发及生产服务，促进创新疗法惠及全球患者。

通过此次收购，OXGENE将成为药明康德旗下专注于细胞和基因疗法CTDMO药明生基的全资子公司；同时，OXGENE将保留原公司名称，并成为药明生基在欧洲的首个研发生产基地。OXGENE的加入将进一步增强药明生基的一体化平台能力，通过赋能全球客户加速细胞和基因治疗产品的开发、测试、生产和商业化进程，不断推动更多创新疗法早日进入市场。

WuXi AppTec Completes Acquisition of OXGENE to Further Strengthen Cell and Gene Therapy Service Offerings for Global Customers

PHILADELPHIA and OXFORD, March 2, 2021 - WuXi AppTec, a leading global provider of R&D- and manufacturing-enabling services in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of OXGENE, a pioneering United Kingdom-based contract research and development organization that designs and develops scalable gene therapy technologies.
